Your data stays on your device unless you turn on sync.
Budgevo has no bank linking and requires no account to use. Your budget is stored on your phone.
What Budgevo stores
The budget you create — envelopes, amounts, transactions, notes, pay schedule and history — is written to storage on your own device. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot read it.
What we collect
Nothing is collected by default. Budgevo does not require an email address, does not create an account for you, and does not include third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Optional cloud backup and sharing
If you choose to turn on cloud backup, sync across devices, or share a budget with another person, your budget data is transmitted to and stored on our servers so that it can be restored or shared. This is off unless you switch it on. Turning it off stops further uploads, and you may request deletion of stored data at any time via the support page.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of what was purchased in order to unlock features. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Links to other companies
Budgevo may include links to products or services offered by other companies. Where we are paid a commission for such a link, that is disclosed where the link appears. Following a link takes you to that company's own site, which is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one. We do not use your budget data to select or target these links.
Children
Budgevo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes affecting how your data is handled will be surfaced in the app.
